Or if I am asking for something or looking for info, "thanks".
For people I don't know, "thanks", "thank you" etc is normally good depending on the context and audience, and "yours sincerely" works for very formal. I have been known to use "Regards" when I just can't think of another option, I admit.Sadhbh Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07624720113343472726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-148983496165646116.post-78586587171760948292009-11-06T01:45:00.213+11:002009-11-06T01:45:00.213+11:00What's your suggestion then? What's your suggestion then?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-148983496165646116.post-11227329212998581482009-11-06T00:05:26.492+11:002009-11-06T00:05:26.492+11:00This made me giggle - I sign off my emails with &#...This made me giggle - I sign off my emails with 'kind regards', although I've never had it devolve into a competition of who can have the kindest regards. And I prefer kind regards to best regards. Best just sounds bad.

But then again I'm emailing hoity-toity people who use that kind of language themselves, so....

Never had anyone write KR though.
